ATIS Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations since 2008. In this role, Lauren Layman is responsible for ATIS’ marketing, membership and corporate communications. Prior to joining ATIS, Lauren worked in marketing positions for both established and emerging companies throughout the United States and Europe. She served as a vice president of Cable & Wireless Inc. and as general manager of Aloha Teleconferencing in Hawaii and worked in product management for Colgate Palmolive SA in Portugal. As co-founder and partner of an international marketing consulting firm, Lauren has worked with early-stage wireless, software and Internet startups on all aspects of marketing and business development. Lauren earned a B.A. in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree in international business studies from the University of South Carolina.
