Rob van der Valk is an entrepreneur and inventor with over 25 patent
families, specializing in timing and PLL systems. He founded SemiBlocks
where he developed a multimode oscillator addressing temperature- and
stress-induced crystal variations. Rob has held engineering roles at
Microsemi / Zarlink Semiconductor / Mitel Semiconductor, he operates
across the full stack—from full-custom analog design and standard cells
to HDL, ASICs, and hardware–software systems. His work includes
frequency converters, PLLs, and oscillators.
