Steve Bedrosian has been at the forefront of pioneering timing and network synchronization technologies used to enable communication systems for over three decades. He is a Principal Engineer in the Infrastructure and Networking department at The MITRE Corporation in Bedford, MA. Prior to coming to MITRE, Steve had engineering roles at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies, LSI Corporation and MIT Lincoln Laboratory. These have given him direct experience in multiple supporting industries including: semiconductors, packet network processors, communications systems and test equipment. He has been awarded 22 US patents, recognized as an industry innovator and thought leader through published articles and international standards development, and is the author of a textbook chapter. He has been an active contributor to many standards organizations including IEEE, ATIS and ITU-T. Steve holds an MSEE from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is a Senior Member of IEEE.
