Dr. Stuart Laval is a member of Duke Energy’s Emerging Technology office, where he leads the development of grid-edge operational technologies and pioneering utility interoperability standards. Dr. Laval has over 15 years of experience in the development of over 30 technology solutions in electric utility power systems, telecommunications, and power electronics. He holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from MIT, a MBA from Rollins College, and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
