Neil has 20 years of experience in Investment Banking IT. Specialising in Electronic Trading and low latency connectivity. After identifying and escalating concerns with the MiFID2 Clock Synch requirements during the initial consultation phase, Neil subsequently chaired the MiFID2 Clock Sync working group for the FIX Standards Committee and represented the Financial Services Sector on the expert panel that produced the influential Blackett Report on Position, Navigation and Timing, published by the UK Govt Office For Science. He is currently an independent consultant, trainer and writer.
